Virtual Worlds Services
Through work with United Business Media and other clients, we've developed and tested a technology and process harness enabling:
  • Production of 'mixed reality' events, accessible within Second Life and also, via video and interactive chat, on the web.
  • Production of 'extended global venue' virtual events, where live event content is brought into Second Life (and onto the web) via IP video and other media.
  • Production of virtual events at any scale: from small groups to intermediate-scale and academic conferences to large commercial productions, hosting dozens of presenters and thousands of attendees over several days of real time.
Technology and practice at our disposal lets us:
  • Smooth the entry and orientation of presenters and attendees to the Second Life platform via branded registration gateways.
  • Insure orderly and secure event production
  • Provide inworld access and identity control (permits 'gated' events).
  • Offer a rich experience in multiple media, integrated with the web, and ...
  • Measure results, using state-of-the-art metrics
We are expert in all the ways business can use 3D environments: both inward-facing (global conferencing, collaboration, messaging, idea-socializing, internal research) and outward-facing (for community-creation, customer education, sales, and virtual commerce).

“I'd like to thank you both for providing so many fantastic events on DDI. I never thought that it would be possible to be overwhelmed with quality live presentations in SL, particularly from one source. But you have done so.”
